Section 1. Drivers are paid $14.00 per hour after the second hour. If you arrive at 7:00am and your appointment time is 1:00pm, then you will not receive detention pay until 3:00pm (two hours from your appointment time). If there is an open window (7:00am-11:59am) you will receive detention pay three hours from your arrival time.
*The maximum you can receive on any delay is $140.00. If you are delayed overnight, you do not get detention pay and layover pay.
*The service coordinator is the only one who is authorized to pay detention pay. If pay is denied due to failure to send in your messages correctly, please do not blame your dispatcher for you not getting detention pay.
